Hi!
I love your pics, you take a great photo and horses make such fun models....that's when they don't know you're watching!

I too have just got back into the saddle recently, after a very long break - too long!
I'm so glad you have found yourself a great little yard with horses that look excellently cared for.

Good luck and have a very happy 2009!

hey there! :)
aww thank you
i love taking photos of the horses there, they are always doing something interesting.
I love my yard, it may not have the biggest newest equipment or stuff like that but the instructors can really help you even in a group situation and the horses are some of the happiest i've seen, they come up to you when you go into the paddocks even with a halter because they are happy and healthy in body and mind!

Glad to her you've got back into the saddle to! any break from riding is too long ;) I rode for two hour a week for about a year when i had my very first lesson back in 2003 and then gave it up till 07! Hope your yard is great as well and you have many fun and safe hours riding in the new year!

That's so nice to have great instructors! I have been to a yard where the instructor was like a deamon from hell! I never went back there until that instructor had gone.
I now ride once a week with the RDA and I ride a cute but stubborn horse, whom I'm still trying to get used to! I used to have a stunning horse on loan and I miss him so much to this day. If only I could have spent a few more minutes with him...

He was a 16.1hh, bay TBx and did 3 day eventing to advanced level and was such a dream to ride, he taught me an awful lot as I used to ride him pretty much everyday or on days when time was short I'd lunge him. One day I hope I'll have the opportunity to have a horse on loan again, until then I will carry on with my lessons and the odd hack!

Enjoy your lessons and have a safe and happy 2009.
